Bob's "Desert Glow" is one of my very favorite paintings. I have painted variations on his color palette but the original colors always work best.
Bob was not only a masterful painter and colorist but a dedicated teacher and proponent of the fact that anyone can paint.
That was why they called it the Joy of Painting - it makes people happy and it doesn't matter if they have Happy Accidents. Results are secondary.
Amazing take on this scene. Very nice results.
